Juanele draws the wacky, ingenious comic strip Patote what can I say about this strip, it’s just simply GREAT! From Nina’s introduction to the alien in the finale I loved every minute of it. I laughed and laughed, thank you so much Juanele.
First time I visited Moco Comics everything was of course in Spanish, not exactly my native tongue, but it didn’t matter. I was so enthralled with the art and movements of the characters, I didn’t need to be able to read the captions, I could enjoy it on just a visual level. So I flipped through his archives and just basked in the art of a great cartoonist at work. Lucky for English-language-only idiots like myself, he now has them translated into English, thank you Juan.
Here it is! The Great David Scott Smith draws Road Apples. From his amazing art style to the Leonard Cohen song, I love everything about this strip. Even the musical notes are beautiful. David draws the fun and witty strip Space Base 8 . When he agreed to do a guest strip for me I was ecstatic. I have dreamed for awhile to see David’s art and my characters mixed together. Thanks again David.
To all who haven’t checked out Space Base 8 yet, you can see by the strip above it’s a must read. I fell in love with it the first time I read it and I’m sure you will too. David has a drawing style that sticks with you after you have seen it. Like all fine craftsman and artists, everything David draws resonates with his audience leaving them wanting more. And he’s funny too; it’s just not fair.
