Locals – Road Apples Almanac Site
I am experimenting with creating a Road Apples Posting site on Locals . I was thinking of moving all the Bran Bionic story there or posting on both. I am also curious if there is any chance of small incremental financial support for my comic strips. I enjoy creating and will always do it, but i am seeing if people want to support with a couple a buck or two a month. I realize that would include being more consistent in posting.
or I might Start Posting all strips there and take down this site, I am not sure.
Any consistent readers have thoughts?
Personally, I’m unwilling to create an account there, as Locals does things that are against my values. If you move your comic(s), I wouldn’t be able to read them anymore, as it appears there’s no way to view your page on Locals without registering.
🙂 hi Amber, i just heard about Locals a couple weeks ago, it seems like a patreon mixed with an instagram. I don’t know much about it yet.it seems like a regular social media site, i will learn more. Thanks for your thoughts
I generally don’t trust the companies running social media and am unwilling to give them any information about me. So seeing how Local won’t let you in without registering, I’d also be saying goodbye if you move everything there
